As a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will apply the art and science of diagnostic evaluation and therapeutics through safe and effective use of radionuclides. You will be responsible for patient interviews, instruction, and care; preparation, quality control, calibration, and administration of radiopharmaceutical compounds; execution of patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, including computer processing and image enhancement; and laboratory testing. You will use your knowledge of radiation physics and safety regulations to limit radiation exposure to the general public, patients, fellow workers, and yourself. We’re looking to you to pursue personal and professional development by participating in medical, technical, and research that enhances the quality of patient care.

To qualify for this key role, you will need:

  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technology licensure
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N)
  • ARRT-R, ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT preferred
  • Working knowledge of relevant nuclear medicine technology
  • Ability to understand patient records, forms, technical procedures and policy manuals in standard English
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work with self-initiative and minimum supervision in the performance of nuclear medicine procedures.
    Interpersonal skills to relate to patients of all age groups or their families with sensitivity and compassion.
